Dallas leader joins executive team
Austin/Dallas/El Paso/Fort Worth/Lubbock/Waco TX- Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas in Dallas is proud to announce their new Chief Development Officer, Shawn Wills.
Shawn Wills is a Dallas-based nonprofit executive with more than 20 years of management-level work experience. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), with additional certifications in Nonprofit Leadership from Southern Methodist University (SMU) and Nonprofit Management from the Center for Nonprofit Management, and has a BA from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
Prior to joining the Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas team, Ms. Wills served as the Vice President of Operations and Strategy for a Dallas-based membership organization as well as an Adjunct Professor at Paul Quinn College, where she teaches courses on fundraising, philanthropy, and grant writing. Ms. Wills has previously served as a Senior Vice President of Development and as a Chief Development Officer for other nonprofit organizations in Texas. In her leadership roles, Ms. Wills, has raised more than $100 million since 2010, and led fundraising efforts that include a successful $16 million capital campaign and a $50 million campaign.
Ms. Wills is a founding member of Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy, as well as a founding officer and member of the Village Giving Circle.

The majority of Planned Parenthood patients are uninsured, earn incomes below 300% of the federal poverty level, and trust Planned Parenthood for affordable birth control, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, and other reproductive healthcare services.
