How We Impact Ohio's Economy

According to an independent economic impact study, Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio generates $51.3 million for Ohio’s economy through our 17 health centers and affiliated operations, and we save the Ohio healthcare system $88 million annually. The study was conducted by Capital Link, a national non-profit organization that provides valuation and impact analysis for community health centers and primary care associations.

Our Purpose is Personal. Our Impact is Powerful.

“I’m proud to report our health centers are proven leaders in meeting the needs of patients at an affordable cost to taxpayers, individuals and employers.”

- Iris E. Harvey, Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio President & CEO 2016-2023

We Are a Financial Asset

PPGOH saved Ohio's overall health care system $88 million annually by servicing Medicaid patients at a 24% lower cost than private providers, managing chronic conditions, reducing emergency room visits, and emphasizing preventive care.
