Patient Ally

The role of a Patient Ally is to guide patients, staff, and visitors to the health center with the least amount of disturbance possible, as well as to provide a positive environment for all those who enter. PPGP believes that people should be able to utilize the services Planned Parenthood has to offer, free of harassment and fear.

Political Advocacy

Planned Parenthood Great Plains Votes is the political arm of Planned Parenthood Great Plains. PPGPV is committed to fighting for a more equitable future – one where everyone can have the power and freedom to control their own bodies and their own lives.

Education and Community Relations

Education and Community Relations volunteers attend festivals, events, canvass neighborhoods, and more, to increase awareness of PPGP’s services, provide comprehensive health care information, and encourage our mission in the community.

Clinical Trainee

If you are completing your medical training and in need of program hours, consider becoming part of the PPGP team to increase access to health care, enhance the experience of our diverse patient base, reduce health disparities, and improve health outcomes. How to Become a Volunteer

By volunteering with PPGP you will become a voice of progress for reproductive health and justice. You do not need any specific skills to volunteer, just a desire to help! 

All volunteers must: 

  • Fill out our volunteer form 

  • Join a virtual volunteer orientation 

  • Read and sign forms acknowledging PPGP’s policies and guidelines 

  • After you fill out the volunteer form, we will contact you to discuss the next steps.
     

* Note: there may be a waiting period for some opportunities depending on our current needs.

** Also note: some volunteer positions require a background check and additional training.
