SEATTLE – Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands (PPGNHI) will relocate its Northgate Health Center to a new facility located at 1200 N. Northgate Way, effective May 2.

The fully renovated health center in Northgate will allow PPGNHI to serve current and future patients with large exam rooms and meeting space for health center staff. The new location is near Highway 99 and adjacent to a number of public transportation options that run throughout the city.

“As an organization, we consistently evaluate how we deliver health care and it is important to take into account our physical locations, so we stay relevant to the needs of our community,” said Rebecca Poedy, Chief Operating Officer at PPGNHI. “The new Northgate Health Center will serve a growing region and provide expert, quality, and affordable health care to those who need it most.”

In 2017, PPGNHI served more than 5,250 patients at the Northgate Health Center. The new health center is located less than one mile from the former location and will offer a comprehensive range of high-quality reproductive health care, including affordable access to birth control, annual wellness exams, breast and cervical cancer screenings, emergency contraception, sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment, abortion services, as well as sexual health education and information.

The services at PPGNHI will not be interrupted and there will be no lapse in service. The Northgate Health Center will be open five days a week – Tuesday through Saturday. Patients can also take advantage of PPGNHI’s online health services for birth control and UTI testing and treatment. Call 1-800-230-PLAN to make an appointment.
