Honolulu Hale Turns Pink in Celebration of Planned Parenthood’s 100th Anniversary

On October 16, Planned Parenthood will celebrate its 100th anniversary, and as part of the celebration, during the week of October 10, Honolulu Hale will turn pink in commemoration of Planned Parenthood’s centennial and Planned Parenthood’s care and activism in Hawaii for the past 50 years.

Planned Parenthood Launches Online Access to Birth Control in Hawaii

Today, Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands (PPGNHI) officially announced the launch of Planned Parenthood Care™ in Hawaii. The app allows people to talk to a Planned Parenthood provider online and face-to-face through a secure video consultation system, and then receive birth control in the mail.

West Seattle Planned Parenthood Health Center Moves to New Location

(Seattle) – Today, Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest (PPGNW) will move its West Seattle Health Center to a new location at 9942 8th Avenue, just over one mile from the current location. The facility, previously the Public Health Center at Greenbridge operated by Public Health—Seattle & King County, will open as the new White Center-West Seattle Health Center.

Juneau, AK — Today, young, passionate supporters of women, men and teen’s health and reproductive justice will come together in Juneau to make their voices heard by meeting with their legislators. At the Peer Education Program’s first annual Teen Lobby Day, teens from Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest’s Juneau Teen Council will ask for funding for sexually transmitted infections (STI) prevention, testing, and treatment, and programs so all Alaska residents have the freedom to access the health care they need.
