As a provider of abortion care, PPGP would like to make sure our patients and supporters are aware of the tightening restrictions on abortion care across our affiliate so that they may plan accordingly.
Please know that on May 3, 2022, a Texas-style copycat ban on abortion past six weeks took immediate effect when it was signed by Oklahoma’s governor.
As a result, PPGP is not currently providing surgical or medical abortion procedures in Oklahoma. We are still scheduling and providing surgical and medical abortion procedures in other states.
PPGP is here for you with information, resources, and services. To speak with a member of our team regarding your options for care, please call your local health center or 1-800-230-PLAN.

72-Hour Waiting Period
The state of Oklahoma mandates a 72-hour waiting period before your abortion. This waiting period begins as soon as you make your appointment on the phone or in person. Please call us or visit the health centers located in Central Oklahoma City or Tulsa, Oklahoma to schedule an appointment.
If You're A Minor
If you are under the age of 18, Oklahoma state law requires you to have one parent or legal guardian to consent to an abortion procedure. Please print and initial/sign before a notary the Parental Consent Form below and bring it into the health center for notarization.
The checklist below is a helpful tool to better understand the steps you need to take to get an abortion if you are under the age of 18.
If you do not have parental consent before an abortion, you will need to complete a judicial bypass process. Please contact the health center staff for more information on how to obtain a judicial bypass.
