Ohio deserves sex ed.

Planned Parenthood's core mission is to provide access to high-quality health care and education that empower people to make informed private decisions about their reproductive lives and sexual health. Our Education team works to make this mission a reality by bring comprehensive and fact-based relationship and sexual education to anyone who needs or wants it. We have programs for parents/caregivers, professionals, youth, and more. According to the CDC, being well-informed leads to:

  • Delay initiation of sexual intercourse
  • Fewer sexual partners
  • Fewer experiences of unprotected sex
  • Increased use of protection, specifically condoms
  • Improved academic performance

For these reasons and many more, Ohio deserves sex ed.
