Our committed alliance of volunteers donate thousands of hours to PPWP each year. Our volunteers are crucial to helping us provide, promote, and protect reproductive health care services for our entire community.

We encourage all ages, races, ethnicities, and gender identities to apply to become a volunteer - PPWP is here for everyone, and that means we need everyone's help 🙂

Step 1: Fill out our application. All volunteers are required to complete an application.

Step 2: We will review your application. Should your application be approved* we will be in contact with you regarding the next step of our process.

HCAP Program

Sharing stories is a powerful way to use our voice, advocate for ourselves, and add another level of empathy and understanding to a movement. At Planned Parenthood of Western PA, our storytelling program (Health Center Advocacy Program) strives to uplift patient stories in order to educate, engage, and connect with our communities. By sharing our stories, we hope to destigmatize hurtful narratives around topics like abortion, sexuality, and reproductive healthcare. More than ever, we need to highlight stories that advocate for patient healthcare.
