Free Health Insurance

FREE services are available to patients who do not have health insurance—or who have only partial insurance coverage—through the Family Planning Benefit Program.

This free insurance program covers GYN exams, Pap smear screening for cervical cancer, birth control information and supplies, and even testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs, also known as STDs) if this is done as a part of a birth control/family planning visit. If you're eligible for coverage, all of these services are completely free with no co-pays or out-of-pocket. If we determine that you are not eligible for coverage, you can still receive services at a reduced cost based on your level of income.

Signing up for free insurance coverage is easier than ever! Just come fifteen minutes early to your health center appointment with the required documents, or set up an appointment to enroll.  Call 518.434.5678 or make an appointment online to set up an appointment right away and get more information on covered services, necessary documents and eligibility.
