We are proud of our 90 year history serving southwest Ohio and northern Kentucky. Though time has brought many changes and challenges, two things remain constant – our commitment to our patients and the steadfast dedication of our incredible community of supporters.
We have our roots in the Maternal Health Clinic, established in 1929. Open for just one hour each week, the clinic offered contraception which, at the time, was limited to diaphragm fittings.
In the years since, we’ve opened new locations, closed old ones, expanded services and worked tirelessly to increase reproductive and sexual health care and sex education access for the people who rely on us. None of this would have been possible without the generations of staff, supporters and patients who are Planned Parenthood.
There will be more challenges to overcome and there will also be more opportunities – to reach new communities, denounce ignorant policies that harm the vulnerable, lift up the voices of our allies and grow in areas where we’re needed most.
Together we will honor the past and CLAIM THE FUTURE.
Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio's mission is to provide access to high quality health care and education that empower people to make informed private decisions about their reproductive lives and sexual health.
Our work is championed by an amazing group of volunteers and staff. Learn more about Our Leadership.
