Update on COVID-19

The health and safety of our patients, staff and community is our top priority.

COVID-19 Information For Patients:

In order to keep you, other patients and our staff healthy we are taking steps to limit the spread of COVID-19. Here's what that means:

  • You are encouraged to use telehealth for your visit if possible. Many services are now available virtually and you can schedule online or by calling.
  • One guest can accompany you into the building. This will ensure as few people as possible are in the building at one time.

We will continue to follow the most current safety guidelines issued by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Ohio Department of Health. We encourage everyone to observe proper precautions to protect against COVID-19, influenza (the flu) and other infectious diseases.

Do you have an upcoming or need a new appointment?

In order to keep you and our other patients healthy, please call us before coming in if you are experiencing respiratory symptoms, cough, or fever. A call center representative will screen your symptoms to ensure we can provide the best care possible.

Vaccination Information

In order to protect our community, Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio encourages anyone who is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. According to the CDC, every person aged 5 and older is eligible to get vaccinated against COVID-19. The vaccine is an effective way to prevent severe disease and death and even protects against known variants that are circulating within our region and across the country. You can find a COVID-19 vaccine here . According to the CDC, those who are fully vaccinated can return to many of the activities they enjoyed before the pandemic, though masks should continue to be worn indoors in public in areas of high transmission.
