Programs for Professionals

Training and Professional Development

Our professional development workshops are designed to improve the knowledge, skills, and effectiveness of professionals in various fields. Our Education team delivers trainings in-person or virtually. We can deliver one of our pre-built workshops listed below or develop a training specifically for your organization's needs.

Multi-day trainings

  • Training of the Educator (ToE): The Training of the Educator (ToE) equips youth-serving professionals to teach relationship and sexual health education that is in alignment with the National Sex Education Standards. Participants will engage with the content in several ways throughout the training. This will include learning core concepts, reviewing student materials and activities, participating in select activities, and engaging with skill-building opportunities including answering tough questions and teach backs.
  • IDD Training of the Educator: The IDD Training of the Educator (ToE) is for professionals who serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The training will review content and discuss ways to adapt information, activities and learning materials to meet the needs of the learners.
  • Let’s Talk: "Let's Talk" is an interactive and engaging workshop that addresses relationship and sexuality education for all ages, in all types of settings. This isn't your standard seminar - this training will equip participants with materials and skills they can use to navigate these conversations and become a trusted and credible resource for youth in their lives.
