Sarasota, FL — Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida (PPSWCF) is honored to be among the nonprofit finalists for the eleventh annual WEDU Be More Awards.

The eleventh annual WEDU Be More Awards will take place on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. The annual community event will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Hall of Heroes followed by an inspiring luncheon and awards ceremony starting at 12:00 p.m.

PPSWCF is a finalist for all four awards that the organization was nominated for. This includes the recognition of not just the nonprofit organization but also its internationally known education program, SOURCE Productions, and one of its very own volunteers, Christina Norcia. The finalist categories are as follows:

BE MORE HUMBLE: Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida

BE MORE RELEVANT: The Source Theatre

BE MORE INVOLVED: Christina Norcia, SOURCE Productions

“We are so excited for this honor and thrilled for the opportunity to celebrate our success,” said KT Curran, Director/Producer of SOURCE Productions. “Our impact in the community is profound.
