Research tells us that health messages are more powerful when they come from a peer -- someone who looks like you and experiences similar challenges. PPSE’s peer health educator programs train high school students to provide accurate information about sexual health and help guide their peers in making healthy decisions. Whether in the locker room, the hall between classes, or hanging out after school, PPSE’s peer health educators are trusted sources of medically-accurate information for their peers.
Our peer education programs, listed below, run concurrent to the academic year. Applications are accepted August-September.
- Teen Action Group (TAG)
- Teen Advocates for Sexual Health (TASH)
