Volunteer to Make an Impact!

For 80 years in the southeast, we have been connecting women and men with health care, and youth with educational programs. Each year, volunteers at Planned Parenthood contribute many hours of service. Volunteers help us to expand our health center services, educational programs, community outreach and advocacy efforts.

Patient Escort Volunteers:

Planned Parenthood Southeast has launched a Volunteer Patient Escort Program at our Cobb, Mobile, and Birmingham Health Centers. With the increased number of protesters at our clinics, we have decided to initiate this program to help our patients have a visit free from harassment and fear.

Once chosen, volunteers will go through a two hour training prior to their initial shift. Escorts will work in tandem with another volunteer for a minimum two-hour shift.

If you believe that you are a good fit for this position, please contact Tony Kearney, Director of Strategic Relationships at [email protected]

Internship Opportunities:

Planned Parenthood Southeast is seeking a Public Policy Intern in Mobile, Alabama. Interested individuals should possess a strong desire to develop community and grassroots organizing skills in the context of advocating for reproductive rights and justice.
