The Truth About Abortion

Planned Parenthood South Texas is prepared for a decades-long fight to rebuild access to abortion in our state. This will be brutal, but we can do hard things. We’ve been doing them since we opened our doors 84 years ago. And the coalition of people/groups that have coalesced around the cause of reproductive freedom has never been broader, stronger, more diverse or more committed. We will ultimately prevail.

In the meantime, if you have had an abortion, please share your story. Only when people talk openly about abortion will we shatter the stigma and shame that are being used to control access to this basic medical procedure. We created “The Truth about Abortion” to combat the misinformation spread by anti-abortion extremists.
