Planned Parenthood South Texas sincerely hopes you, your friends, and your family are healthy during these uncertain times. We’re here with you. We’re going to be here in every way we can to provide the health care and information you need. We're closely monitoring the spread of the new coronavirus, or COVID-19

The health and safety of our patients, staff and communities is our top priority. Our doors are open, and we continue to see patients at our health centers in San Antonio, Harlingen, and Brownsville during regular hours, with appropriate screening precautions in place.

Currently, we are accepting appointments for all regular services. We do NOT provide COVID-19 tests at any of our health centers.

During this time, we are asking anyone who feels sick or is having flu-like symptoms, including:

  • FEVER of 99.5°F or higher
  • DRY COUGH
  • SHORTNESS OF BREATH
  • DIFFICULTY BREATHING

Or, if you’ve been around anyone with these symptoms, to please CALL US.

We are taking every precaution to take care of our patients and staff. Your health, and the health of our staff, is important to us. As such, we will continue to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Please be aware that we will continue to: require the use of masks in our health centers; conduct temperature checks; and follow social distancing best practices. Thank you for trusting Planned Parenthood with your health care.

We’re here. We care. No matter what.
