Planned Parenthood South Texas sincerely hopes you, your friends, and your family are healthy during these uncertain times. We’re here with you. We’re going to be here in every way we can to provide the health care and information you need. We're closely monitoring the spread of the new coronavirus, or COVID-19

The health and safety of our patients, staff and communities is our top priority. Our doors are open, and we’re continuing to see patients at our health centers in San Antonio, Harlingen, and Brownsville during regular hours, with appropriate screening precautions in place.  Planned Parenthood South Texas is committed to the health and safety of our community, and we are complying with state and local orders in an effort conserve medical supplies. 

Currently, we are accepting appointments for all regular services. We do NOT provide COVID-19 tests at any of our health centers.

During this time, we are asking anyone who feels sick or is having flu-like symptoms, including:

  • FEVER of 100.4°F or higher
  • DRY COUGH
  • SHORTNESS OF BREATH
  • DIFFICULTY BREATHING

We are taking every precaution to take care of our patients and staff. For your safety, only patients are allowed in the health centers. All patients must wear face coverings in compliance with the Texas Medical Board’s executive order, and we are conducting temperature checks.
