Feminist Fiesta, San Antonio - Thursday, April 18 | 6-8PM

Join Planned Parenthood South Texas for Feminist Fiesta! Hear from community leaders about important issues we are facing today including the EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act) case at the Supreme Court and the San Antonio Reproductive Justice Fund. Resource fair with community partners, free period products and free EC. (You can also bring period products to donate). Come early for free bites and drinks. Free SWAG bag while supplies last!

Feminist Book Club, Brownsville - Saturday, April 20 | 12-4PM

Join us in Brownsville for our upcoming bilingual Feminist Book Club in partnership with the Latina Institute Texas. We will read and discuss several books on reproductive justice and feminism. We will also be discussing the EMTALA Case happening in Idaho, another example of anti-abortion groups and politicians trying to stigmatize abortion care by creating legal protection for hospitals to refuse to treat pregnant people experiencing a medical emergency.
