LAS VEGAS - Planned Parenthood of Southern Nevada and its parent organization Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains will be hosting its annual FUN-draising Corks and Forks event appropriately titled, “Under the Stars at Moon.”  The event kicks off on Friday, Sept. 24 at Moon Nightclub (inside the Palms Hotel and Casino) at 5:30 p.m.  The public is invited to attend.

The evening’s program will include remarks from PPRM and PPSN President and CEO Vicki Cowart, PPSN’s National Youth Representative Cecilia Garcia, and Jenna Morton, co-owner of N9NE Group and the evening’s host.

"Planned Parenthood of Southern Nevada provides essential health care services to the Las Vegas community," said Vicki Cowart.  "Our health centers see people every day who need preventive care such as annual exams, breast screenings, and affordable contraception.  Through our Education and Public Affairs departments, we also provide Nevadans with the information they need to make responsible decisions and work to ensure Nevada's elected officials know women depend on reproductive care to stay healthy.  We thank our sponsors for making this wonderful event possible."

Event tickets include a complimentary creative cocktail, wine and champagne and exquisite hors d’oeuvres.  Attendees can also participate in a silent auction, bidding on luxury items that range from a golf package at Canyon Gate Country Club, dinner at Nove, a Barney’s gift certificate, and a Coach purse to a Kosta Boda crystal vase.

In addition, guests will be able to partake in an opportunity drawing with the possibility to take home elegant prizes including wine baskets, a sizzling romantic package, an Edible Arrangement gift card and an exclusive party package with access to the Sky Zone. This event is PPSN's premiere annual fundraiser and all proceeds will benefit PPSN.
