Select health centers expanding hours

DENVER- Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains’ Central health center located at 14th and Ogden is now open seven days a week to better serve the needs of its clients.

The move reflects PPRM’s commitment to stay open later and even see clients on weekends in an attempt to bring our affordable and now, more convenient services to our clients on a regular basis.  It also provides our clients with the ability to access our services on an emergency basis so individuals who need emergency contraception, forgot to buy another pack of birth control, or who have an infection that needs immediate attention will be able to get peace of mind, and immediate attention to their needs seven days a week. Additionally, many of our other health centers are making strategic changes to their hours to better serve their communities and clients.

“We are pleased to now offer Sunday hours at our Central Denver location! Based on client feedback, there is clearly a need for our services that isn’t being met.” said Kate Hayes, Central health center manager.
