Glenwood Springs, Colo — On May 17 the Glenwood Springs Planned Parenthood will welcome clients at its new location at 50923 U.S. Highway 6 and 24.  The move from its original location on 20th Street to a larger, state-of-the-art health center is in direct response to the growing need for affordable reproductive and basic primary health care in the Roaring Fork Valley.

“We are excited to unveil our beautiful new health center to the community,” said Rebecca Murray, Glenwood Spring health center manager.  “Our new location was designed to meet the needs of current and future clients.  Building healthy communities is what we do.  We’re here for every person and every family.”

The Glenwood Springs health center offers services based on a sliding scale fee.  Women who qualify may also receive free breast and cervical cancer screenings, including a pelvic exam, Pap test, breast exam, and mammogram.  Many of the center’s medical professionals are bilingual.
