Concord (NH) –  In recognition of World AIDS Day, Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) announced today that its health centers are now offering Rapid HIV testing, which gives results in as little as 20 minutes. PPNNE will promote the new service at several community events though out the week.

“According to the CDC, up to 1 out of 4 people who have HIV don’t know it. That’s why HIV testing is so crucial,” said Kary Jencks, Director of New Hampshire Public Affairs for PPNNE. “In addition to providing access to affordable, confidential, and compassionate HIV testing and education every day, all of our health centers will be handing out free PROPER ATTIRE® condoms in recognition of World AIDS Day.”

PPNNE will also be tweeting HIV/AIDS facts throughout the day and partnering with other organizations to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS through a number of outreach activities, including:
