Planned Parenthood of the North Country New York, Inc. hosts a variety of virtual & in-person events to address health disparities, provide medically-accurate health education, engaging fundraising opportunities and give our supporters opportunities to get involved in the community. Join us throughout the year to help protect & advance reproductive rights and celebrate the services we are able to provide in the North Country!

Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Parade

We will be marching in the 2024 Saranac Lake Winter Carnival on February 10th @ 1PM. We will have a float to represent the theme of "Creepy Carnival". We hope you will come and join the festivities while supporting PP! 

3rd Annual Dash for SAS Color Blast 5K 

We hosted our 3rd Annual Dash for SAS Color Blast 5K on a beautiful early morning in September of 2023! We raised over $1300 for our Sexual Assault Services Program that provides free confidential counseling, a 24/7 confidential hotline, accompaniments and so much more to the community. 

 

Plattsburgh Community Resource Fair!

We hosted a community resource fair at our new Outreach Center. It brought together several community agencies for networking and interaction with community members! 

Watertown Community Outreach Center Open House!

Our Watertown Community Outreach Center has moved into a new suite in the Paddock Arcade! Please join us on Thursday, July 27th, any time between 9AM-3PM to celebrate our new space. Light refreshments will be served

Valentine's Day Trivia!

PPNCNY is hosted a Valentine's Sex Trivia during brunch at Garland City Beer Works on Sunday February 12th and raised $600+ to continue providing essential, affordable healthcare in the North Country.

Day of Action 2023!

We got to join advocates, staff & supporters from across the state in Albany on January 24th to advocate for:

  • Sex education for all New York youth.

  • Passing the equal rights amendment.

  • Advancing reproductive & sexual health budget priorities.

    • Increasing Medicaid reimbursement to providers

    • Funding for the Reproductive Freedom and Equity Program

 

2022 Virtual Spring Plunge!

Halloween Drag Show & Trivia - Watertown!

We joined forces with Amber Skyy & Garland City Beerworks to provide a fun filled afternoon of costumes, drag & Sex trivia!

1st Annual Dash for SAS 5K!

Our 1st Annual Dash for SAS Color Blast 5K raised over $1300 for our Sexual Assault Services Program that provides free confidential counseling, a 24/7 confidential hotline, accompaniments and so much more to the community.

This event took place at the US Oval in Plattsburgh, NY and will be an annual event.

March for Reproductive Rights!

We gathered in various communities across the North Country in support of protecting reproductive rights. We marched in our communities as a team of staff, community members and advocates to spread awareness and support for reproductive freedom!

Annual Spring Plunge!

We have had various in-person plunge events and one virtual plunge event to fundraise for PPNCNY. This fundraiser has brought in over $60,000 over the years and continues to be one of our biggest fundraisers of the year!

Rallies for Roe Across the North Country!

In response to the Supreme Court overturning Roe V. Wade, PPNCNY organized rallies in Watertown, Plattsburgh, Canton, & Saranac Lake. Each rally drawing hundreds of participants expressing their right to choice and sharing impactful stories in regard to abortion and Roe V Wade. 

Dash for SAS 2022!

Our 2nd Annual Dash for SAS Color Blast 5K will benefit our Sexual Assault Services Program that provides free confidential counseling, a 24/7 confidential hotline, accompaniments and so much more to the communities in Clinton, Franklin & Essex counties.

This event will take place at the US Oval in Plattsburgh, NY and will on October 2nd with registration starting at 9:30 & the run starting at 10:30. Follow our event page for more details!

Open House - Plattsburgh Health Center

Join us on September 23rd from 3:30-5:30 to meet our providers and take a tour of our health center! We will also have art from local artist on display throughout the center. We will have some fun activities, including caricatures by Joe Ferris! Follow our event page for more info!
