WHY COLLECT STORIES?

Planned Parenthood supporters and patients have stories to tell, and want to speak up! We share their stories to publicize the wide array of health services that Planned Parenthood provides, and to highlight the importance of access to reproductive, sexual, and preventive health care. It also humanizes our work in order to demonstrate Planned Parenthood’s commitment to the health and wellness of the people we serve.

Storytellers help others to understand who they are and why it’s important to take action to protect our rights and access. With sexual and reproductive health care under constant attack, we have found that sharing these stories is an effective tool to raise awareness about the central health care role that Planned Parenthood plays in communities. By sharing stories, we hope to engage more people in our movement and bring more patients to our health centers.

DO YOU HAVE A STORY TO TELL?

We want to hear it!  Download our Story Collecting form and send it back to us.
