The cost of your visit depends on factors like whether you have insurance, your income, what services you’re looking for, what your provider decides is necessary, and the length and complexity of your visit. If you have insurance, many services, like birth control and annual exams, may be covered with no out-of-pocket cost.

If you don’t have insurance or are worried about cost, give us a call. We can help you get the health care that you need.

It's a good idea to contact your health insurance company directly to make sure the services you're interested in are covered. They can tell you if you'll need to pay for anything out-of-pocket.

We offer insurance enrollment assistance at no-cost in Minnesota. Our certified Navigators can help answer your questions, help you fill out an application to enroll in an affordable plan, and help with renewals.    

In addition to insurance, Planned Parenthood accepts:

In some cases we may be able to work with you to arrange a payment plan for certain services. If you are concerned about cost, our highly trained staff can help you determine if you qualify for reduced cost or no-cost care. In Minnesota they can help you find affordable health insurance.

Some Planned Parenthood health centers offer regular weekly hours for insurance enrollment assistance. We encourage you to call and schedule an appointment to reduce your wait time.

If you live in Minnesota, you can typically enroll for coverage in the Marketplace November 1st through January 15th. During this time, you can enroll and pick a private plan through MNsure if you are uninsured or have insurance outside of MNsure.

As a reminder, those who are eligible for Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare can apply at any time during the year. You may also qualify for a Special Enrollment Period outside of Open Enrollment.
