Planned Parenthood Direct Birth Control Refills
Getting Started
If you get a birth control prescription through the app, the pills will be shipped directly to your in-state address.
Birth Control Refills
If your birth control prescription includes refills, you can manage your refills directly in the app. The app allows you to confirm refills, update your shipping address, and add or update payment information.
Automatic Refills
In your initial request, you can order a minimum 3-month supply of birth control pills and sign up for automatic refills for up to a year. If your birth control shipment is a 6-month supply, you can also get auto refills on your prescription for up to a year.
Pharmacy Refills
If your prescription was sent to a pharmacy, do not use the app to request birth control refill. Instead, please contact the pharmacy directly for any and all refill requests.
What can I do on the Planned Parenthood Direct App?
Birth Control
After a clinician has reviewed your medical history, your birth control will be mailed to the address you provided in the app. In select states you may request a prescription to be picked up at your pharmacy.
Emergency Contraception
In select states, you can request a prescription for emergency contraception to be mailed to you. We offer a version of the pill, ella®—85% effective on any day you take it, up to five days after unprotected sex.
UTI Service
You can get a UTI diagnosis and request medication for UTI treatment through the app. (Only available in Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, and North Dakota.)
