We are recruiting for different studies at our Minneapolis health center that use urine or vaginal swab samples to test new methods of detecting bacteria and viruses.

Previous sample collection studies 

  • Xpert Xpress Point of Care Study: looked at a new device that detects chlamydia, gonorrhea, and trichomonas in 30 minutes 

  • cobas® Liat® Point of Care Study: Looked at a new test that detects chlamydia, gonorrhea, and Mycoplasma genitalium in 20 minutes 

  • Visby Test Self-Collection Study: looked at how well patients can collect swabs from themselves and use a new STI testing device that detects chlamydia, gonorrhea, and trichomonas in 30 minutes.
