Mt. Baker Planned Parenthood has a long history of volunteer involvement and is committed to providing a rewarding and satisfying experience that offers opportunities for social and intellectual  enrichment as well as personal growth.

As a volunteer, you will help us provide a higher level of service that would not be possible without your help. Volunteers can work in Development and Fundraising or Advocacy and Outreach. Take action, make a difference and help others by donating your time and skills!

Types of Volunteer Opportunities

Advocacy

Provides support to the external affairs department on all advocacy activities includinggrass roots organizing, voter registration, letter writing campaigns, media monitoring, and media outreach opportunities.

General Office

Provides general clerical support to the various departments in the administrative offices. Duties include but are not limited to answering phones, data entry, and filing.

Development

Provides support for various fundraising events and activities.
 

All prospective volunteers must fill out a volunteer application, interview with the Community Organizer, and attend an orientation meeting.
