Planned Parenthood fights to ensure that all people have access to high-quality and affordable health care, regardless of race, income, geography, immigration status, or gender identity — no matter what. That is why Planned Parenthood’s Raíz program is committed to breaking down barriers to accessing health care in the Latinx community. The Raíz program is about more than just health. It’s about justice, knowledge, and power.

Since 2014, the Raíz program has worked to build sustainable, community-organizing teams in mutual partnership with Latinx communities to improve their health and rights.

Join us in Michigan to work for Latinx communities across our state in communities, at the ballot box, and at the State Legislature.

Latinx: A gender-inclusive and non-binary term that we use to describe the people we serve. It’s a term embraced by our team because we aim to build power among everyone in the Latinx community, regardless of gender.
