I am proud to be an abortion provider in Illinois, especially at a time when access is hanging by a thread in some parts of the country. Since Texas enacted its unconstitutional 6-week abortion ban and other states—including some of Illinois’ neighbors—are considering similar measures, we need everyone to fight to defend abortion access.

I am thankful every day to work alongside medical professionals who dedicate their lives to ensuring people seeking abortion care have access to the high-quality, compassionate care they need, without judgement. In my heart, National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers lasts all year long.
