Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast is now providing primary care services in person at our New Orleans health center and via telehealth in Texas. Our expert clinicians see patients (18+) for a variety of needs, including cough and cold symptoms, diabetes management, anxiety and depression, and much more. As the trusted provider for thousands of people, Planned Parenthood is proud to expand high-quality health care access and make it easier for our patients to address all their health care needs in one place.

NOTE: We don't currently accept insurance for primary care services in New Orleans, but we keep self-pay costs affordable and competitive, sometimes even lower than local retail clinics and urgent cares.

Acute conditions we treat include:

  • Cough and cold
  • Sore throat
  • Seasonal allergies
  • Muscle and joint pains
  • Sprains and strains
  • Headaches
  • Ear and eye infections
  • School and work physicals

Chronic conditions we treat include:

  • High blood pressure (hypertension)
  • Diabetes

Limited primary care services are also available at our other health centers. These include:
