A top performer in LGBTQ+ health.

We are so proud to be named an LBGTQ+ Healthcare Equality Top Performer by the Human Rights Campaign! A record 906 healthcare facilities actively participated in the 2022 HEI survey – PPGC earned a score of 95 out of 100.

Everything you need to manage your sexual health.

We Offer Gender-Affirming Hormone Therapy

Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast is proud to serve transgender people and patients on the spectrum of gender identity and expression for their sexual health care needs.

PPGC has expanded current health care services for transgender patients to include gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) services via telehealth. We also offer in-person GAHT visits in our New Orleans health center, and our GAHT care coordinators can also help with name and gender marker changes and connecting you to community resources.

Always Striving to Improve

Planned Parenthood is dedicated to making health care accessible and welcoming to everyone who needs it. We are working with our online scheduling system vendor to expand the options offered for selecting your gender and gender identity. During your first visit with us, we will always ask for your preferred pronouns to ensure a safe, comfortable space for you. Thank you for your patience as we work toward a more inclusive solution.
