Parent Circles.

Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio is excited to offer Parent Circles in Mansfield - a program designed to give parents the tools necessary to have healthy discussions surrounding sex and sexuality with the young people in their lives.

Classes are designed to teach  parents and guardians how to create a safe space for teens to openly discuss healthy relationships, gender, sexual decision making, and reproduction. Parents will review the basics of sex and sexuality and will be empowered with information and activities to continue those conversations at home.

The Parent Circles program contains four separate classes focusing on puberty and development, reproduction, safe sex and STI's, gender identity and expression, plus tools and tips for communicating effectively with teens. The Monday and Tuesday classes will take place at the Mansfield Planned Parenthood Health Center (384 Park Ave West, Mansfield, Ohio 44906), and the Saturday and Wednesday classes will take place at the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library (43 West Third St, Mansfield, Ohio 44906).
