2022—2024 Strategic Plan

Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York is proud to share we’ve finalized a three-year Strategic Plan for 2022—2024. The strategic intent behind this plan will help us achieve our mission and vision, while allowing our values to guide us. 

Strategic Intent: To create a transparent, collaborative, supportive, and accountable culture so we can fulfill our mission and engage our staff in serving our communities equitably and respectfully.

Mission: Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York protects and provides health care and education that empowers individuals and families. With respect. Without judgment. No matter what.

Vision: Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York envisions a community where everyone has autonomy over their bodies and choices as a basic human right. We will welcome everyone to enter safely through our doors and leave emotionally and physically healthier.

Our strategic plan has three key result areas (KRA) to provide benchmarks for success. Each KRA is broken down into strategies to help guide our efforts and each strategy is supported with numerous tactics to ensure we achieve our goals.

KRA1: We are able to hire and retain top talent.

This will allow us to best serve our patients and clients. We’ve been investing in culture transformation to make sure that PPCWNY is a place people want to come to work every day.

KRA2: We are intentionally improving access to care and health outcomes for those that need it most.

If people don’t have access, they do not have a choice regarding their reproductive and sexual health care. We’ve been working to expand access for several years and are about to see it come to fruition with our new Buffalo and Rochester health centers.

KRA3: Community support enhances our impact.

Bottom line, we cannot do anything without the support from our donors, volunteers, and collaboration within our communities. Thank you for allowing us to deliver on our mission, we couldn’t do it without you.
