Historically, RESTORE, our sexual abuse support program, has maintained two hotlines – one for Monroe County, which began in 1973, and another for Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, and Wyoming Counties, which were each added to RESTORE’s area of coverage between 1983-2004. RESTORE has served its five-county region via both hotlines for decades, with the same staff answering each line in the same location.

Moving forward, RESTORE will continue to provide 24-hour support and information to all those impacted by sexual violence throughout Monroe, Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, and Wyoming Counties using a single hotline number: 585-546-2777. The other hotline number will remain open for calls until it has been inactive for at least one year.

Interested in volunteering with RESTORE? The next round of volunteer advocate training will kick off this summer. All applicants will be screened and must complete a 40-hour training. To get started, download the volunteer advocate application and email to [email protected].
