Hello, from Rachel!

Hi! I’m Rachel Montpelier, PPCWNY’s New Admin Assistant.

My role: As the Administrative Assistant at the University Ave. location in Rochester, I support many staff and departments by taking care of smaller projects or tasks, freeing up some of their time. Since I started in September, I’ve worked with folx across PPCWNY, but I primarily support the Volunteer Program, Security, Public Affairs, and Organizational Development.

I tend to work on many different assignments during my day, from sending meeting agendas and taking minutes, to writing company-wide memos, to putting together content for the Volunteer Voice.

My background: I’m originally from Ogdensburg, a small town in the North Country that’s right on the Canadian border and near the Thousand Islands. I studied Communication & Rhetoric and English Lit at Nazareth College and relocated to Rochester permanently after graduation. Before joining PPCWNY, I was the News Editor at Women and Hollywood.

Oh, and I’ve been an ardent feminist and PP supporter for as long as I can remember!

How to get in touch: If you ever need anything, or would just like to chat, my office is right next to the reception desk at University Ave. My email is [email protected] and my phone number is 585-546-2771 ext. 8804. I’m so happy to be working with all of you here at PPCWNY!
