Greetings and happy Black History Month, PPCWNY volunteers!

In recognition of Black History Month (BHM), this edition of the Volunteer Voice includes a piece on Planned Parenthood’s renewed commitment to stand with Black women, in health care settings and beyond. We highlight a slew of BHM-themed activities in our Community Events section as well.

Also in this issue, we’re celebrating RESTORE, our support program for survivors of sexual abuse, as it approaches an impressive milestone. An introduction to the Public Affairs team -- the folx behind many of PPCWNY’s beloved projects and events, such as the new abortion care package initiative and the Day of Action – is among this month’s articles as well.
