We Appreciate You, PPCWNY Volunteers!

This is your time, PPCWNY volunteers!

This April, aka National Volunteer Month, Planned Parenthood is giving a special shout-out to our wonderful volunteers. Last year, 288 volunteers logged almost 11,000 hours providing support to our affiliate, from escorting patients into health centers, to serving on the Board, to helping assemble abortion care packages.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, volunteers, for contributing your time, energy, and passion to PPCWNY! Our CEO, Michelle Casey, also wanted to share her own personal message of appreciation:

“Compassionate. Dedicated. Resilient. These are all qualities that come to mind when I think of our incredible volunteers at PPCWNY. And it’s because of volunteers like you that we’re able to provide and advocate for essential health care, education, and programming that meets the needs of the communities we serve. You enable us to do so much more than we could ever do on our own, and you play an enormous role in making Planned Parenthood’s mission possible. During Volunteer Appreciation Month, and every month, we are so grateful to stand with you as we live our values and care for our communities. Thank you for all you do.”
