If your penis is ejaculating earlier than you want it to, you're not alone. It's super common and it happens to many people. It happens more often when you’re younger.

Premature ejaculation is when you come sooner than or before you want to. This can be stressful and frustrating, and it can also cause anxiety, shame, and distress. But it doesn’t mean something’s wrong with you.

Premature ejaculation can be treated. While it's normal to ejaculate quickly from time to time, if it happens a lot and causes you frustration, anxiety, problems in your relationships, or makes you avoid having sex, it's a good idea to talk to a nurse or doctor. They can help you make sure everything is okay, figure out why you might be ejaculating sooner than you want to, and help you understand your options for treatment and ways to manage it.
