SXSW EDU Workshop: How Planned Parenthood, Brady & You Can Empower Gen Z

Social issues matter to Gen Z. They often advocate for fair, safe, and equal treat­ment of others. In this workshop, Planned Parenthood and Brady will arm educators with tools, language, and information to empower Gen Z to better promote social issues they care about. Attendees will learn how to teach students ways to organize, develop leaders, create civic engagement, and build infrastructure to support their causes.

The Latest in the Fight for Reproductive Rights

The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last year, taking away the constitutional right to abortion, a decision that will harm millions of people. Right here in Texas, abortion opponents have filed a lawsuit seeking to ban one of two FDA-approved medications used in early abortions and a decision in their favor could restrict the drug nationwide. Join Planned Parenthood Federation of America VP of Digital Products Kevin Williams, along with others to hear stories and strategies from leaders who are at the forefront of the fight for basic health care and reproductive rights.
