Teen Advocates for Sexual Health

Teen Advocates for Sexual Health (TASH) is a group of teens (grades 9-12) representing diverse backgrounds from the St. Louis area, Southwest Missouri, & Southeast Missouri.

What You Do in TASH

Teen Advocates for Sexual Health (known as "TASH") creates, develops, plans and implements programs that move toward a greater understanding and appreciation of healthy sexuality based on teen rights, respect, and responsibility. With TASH, teens learn about sexual health, sexuality and how to be advocates in their communities. Members of TASH will:

  • Create a common language around issues of sex, sexuality, sexual health, diversity, intersectionality, advocacy, and public policy.

  • Understand how privilege, oppression, and power contribute to access to sexual health and education, resources, and services.

  • Become agents for positive change in personal, political, and social spheres.

  • Learn what it means to be an advocate and a powerful influencer.

  • Learn accurate sexual health information to share with the broader community.
