By the age of 25, one in two young people will get a sexually transmitted infection. Most won't know it. Many infections do not cause any symptoms. If you think you may have been exposed to an infection or have had sex without using a condom, getting tested is a great way to protect your sexual health. It's also a great way to protect the health of your sex partners. Get Yourself Tested (GYT) today.

Free STD Testing: Monday, April 22 & Tuesday, April 23, 2013
Appointments will be accepted, or you can walk-in to be tested.
To make an appointment, please call 800.230.PLAN (7526) or log on at www.ppgnw.org/appt.
Free day of testing includes screenings for chlamydia and gonorrhea only. Fees for PPGNW’s Free day of testing is made possible through gifts we’ve received to our Someone You Know Fund, a fund whose purpose is to expand access to preventive care. There are no eligibility requirements and you will not be subject to an income screening. If you do not have symptoms you will get tested but not be examined. Clients with symptoms or known exposure to an STD will require a visit with a clinician that will be paid for by the Someone You Know fund. Medication, treatment, or treatment for partners is not covered by this offer.
If your results are abnormal, an additional visit may be required with a clinician to review your results, receive medication, and / or other follow-up. There will be an additional fee if these services are needed. You will be contacted by phone within fourteen (14) working days if your tests are abnormal. You will not be contacted if your tests are normal. Reporting abnormal results to public health agencies is required by law.
You will be given referrals for further diagnosis or treatment if necessary. The cost of additional care will be your responsibility if a referral is needed. No guarantee may be given as to the results that may be obtained from any services you receive. It is your choice whether or not to receive services. You may change your mind at any time about receiving medical services at Planned Parenthood.
