How effective are EContra EZ morning-after pills?*

An OTC levonorgestrel morning-after pill – like EContra – can lower your chance of unintended pregnancy by 75-89% if you take it within three days after unprotected sex. But sooner is better – the longer you wait, the less effective it is.

*This type of EC is less effective in people who weigh over 155 lbs. In this case, Ella or the copper IUD, which work up to five days after unprotected sex, might be better EC options for you.

Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin is here to help - no matter what.
