Volunteers play an important role at PPWNM, enhancing our ability to reach out and meet the needs of the community. Volunteering also gives people who are concerned about reproductive and sexual health issues, and access to care for all, a way to get involved by offering support like:
- Help with mailings, educational fairs, fund raising and special events
- Professional/consulting services
- Service on committees
- Fundraising assistance
- Advocacy involvement
Community support truly makes our programs possible! We have volunteer opportunities available at most of our locations. If are interested in volunteering send us an email at [email protected],or call (616) 774-7005 ext. 3126. Please let us know why you want to volunteer, what you are interested in helping with and what kind of time you have to give. We will send you a few forms that need to be filled out before you can begin volunteering.
Unpaid internships are available on a limited basis for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students at select PPWNM locations. To learn more, e-mail [email protected].
