Our Doors Are Open.

At Planned Parenthood, we know that banning abortion does not take away people’s need to access abortion care. We know that personal medical decisions about your sexual and reproductive health should be made by you, and you alone.

Since the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, we have heard concerns and received questions about the future of reproductive health care in Virginia. It is important to remember that abortion is still legal in Virginia. We will continue to provide the health care you need to make decisions about your body, your life, and your future.

We want to reassure you that you can still access gender affirming hormone care, including hormone therapy, at VLPP.

We know this is a very distressing time, and that in addition to uncertainty around access to abortion, you may also have questions about how this decision could impact our patients’ ability to access gender affirming care. While it's true you may have seen headlines that other states such as Alabama and Florida are considering restricting access to gender affirming care, this has no impact on Virginians at this current time.
