Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood is excited to announce the relocation of the Hudson Health Center!

The new location will open at 9 am at 804 Columbia Street on Tuesday, February 26. The current location at 190 Fairview Avenue will continue to see patients until 7 pm on Thursday, February 21. UHPP will provide services including picking up birth control, emergency contraception and medical supplies until close of business on that day. There will be no interruption of services provided by the Hudson Health Center. 

The new health center hours will be the same as the current health center hours. They are as follows: Monday closed, Tuesday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Thursday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Friday closed. Appointments can be made by calling 1.800.230.PLAN (7534) or 518.434.5678 or you can make an appointment online at uhpp.org.

If you would like to obtain your medical records before or after the Hudson health center relocates, please call our main office number at 518.434.5678 to make the request. You can also ask the front desk for the medical release form which you can drop off in the office or fax it to our main office at 518.434.0732. You can also ask your doctor to fax a request to our office. 

If you are in need of family planning services and cannot be seen in the Hudson Health Center, there are Planned Parenthood health centers in Kingston, Albany and the Greene County Family Planning Center located in Catskill. The new Hudson Health Center will house a reception area, a waiting area, patient rooms, a recovery room, care coordination and counseling offices, and a shared teen space and community room. In addition, UHPP will also be expanding its prevention and treatment of cervical cancer with colposcopy and LEEP services.

Expanded Services.

Planned Parenthood added ADDITIONAL HOURS to best serve our patients. We are now open in Hudson Tuesday and Wednesdays from 9 am to 5 pm and Thursdays from 11 am to 7 pm.

Planned Parenthood launched TRANSGENDER SERVICES in Hudson in January of 2017. We now offer comprehensive transgender hormone therapy and preventive health care services to transgender and gender non-conforming patients.

Planned Parenthood expanded our SEX EDUCATION program in Columbia County to reach at risk teens. Two Youth Health Promoters will do community based outreach and expand education to five additional schools this fall.

Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood is the PROVIDER OF CHOICE for over 10,000 people each year. Nearly half of our patients do not receive healthcare at any other provider throughout the year. Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood is the only provider of Abortion Care in Columbia, Greene Counties and the Berkshire Region, and the only provider of Sexual Health Education in schools in our region.
