Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood Opens the NEW Hudson Health Center at 804 Columbia Street!

Check out the new waiting room!

The new location opened at 804 Columbia Street on Tuesday, February 26. (NOTE: the parking lot entrance is 21 Greene Street; in the Crossroads building)

UHPP is committed to providing a place where patients feel valued and respected and to provide the best care, no matter what. The improved health center will serve more people in Columbia, Greene and Berkshire Counties providing reproductive healthcare, abortion, transgender care and mental health counseling. This new facility also includes cancer prevention and treatment equipment to expand services. In addition, the new Hudson Health Center will house a reception area, a waiting area, four patient rooms, an abortion recovery room, care coordination and counseling offices, and a shared teen space and community room.

“With the continued attacks from the Trump Pence Administration it is more important than ever that Planned Parenthood let our patients know that we will continue to provide high quality, confidential reproductive health care in the communities that need us the most. Our health care professionals are committed to delivering honest and complete information to our patients.” says Chelly Hegan, President/CEO of Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood

The Community and Teen room will be a shared space that will also be used as a community room for staff meetings, public programs such as Teach-ins, healthy parent and child programs, and education programs, and will be available for small, local non-profits to use who do not have the funding or resources to host meetings and programs on their own. We at UHPP understand and embrace the idea that intersectionality is vital to lift up our organization and look forward to working with other organizations based in Columbia County, and the city of Hudson in particular, to join together to help our patients, clients, and customers.

If you have any questions, please contact our office at 518.434.5678 or [email protected]. UHPP is committed to providing a place where patients feel valued and respected and to provide the best care, no matter what.
