New members and officers have been elected to the Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood Board of Directors for the 2011-2012 term.

Coming onto the UHPP Board this year are Mathew Arnold-Lloyd of Albany, a Property Development broker at British American; Ellen Cole of Albany, a Psychologist working in private practice; Jill Rafferty-Weinisch of Troy, Director of Performing Arts and Outreach at The Arts Center of the Capital Region; Marie Chery-Sekhobo of Albany; Darius Shahnifar of Albany, Counsel at the Law Office of Daniel W. Coffey; Deborah Shakotko of Claverack; Carol Stenger of Glenmont, Sexual Health Education Coordinator for Health Promotion, University at Albany ; and Ann Umlauf of Rensselaer.

Elected as officers to the Board were: as Chairperson, Deborah Rosen Zamer of Albany, a realtor with Judy Rosen Real Estate; as First Vice Chairperson, Tricia Asaro of Delmar, attorney at law; as Second Vice Chairperson, Sherry Gold of Slingerlands, a community volunteer; as Recording Secretary, Beth Scher of Albany, a community volunteer; as Corresponding Secretary, Christa Christakis of East Greenbush, Director of Quality and Research Initiatives at the Healthcare Association of NYS ; and as Treasurer, Sara Oberst of Troy, Heath Program Administrator at the NYS Department of Health.
