PPGMR will offer free emergency contraception (EC). EC lowers the risk of pregnancy when taken within 120 hours of unprotected intercourse. PPGMR encourages sexually active women to have EC available in case of emergency. No appointment is needed.

  • Tuesday, May 12, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.-- Free Family Planning Day
In recognition of National Women's Check-Up Day, PPGMR will offer free family planning services, including annual exams and birth control. Space is limited. Please call today for an appointment: 725-1717.
  • Thursday, May 14, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. -- "Peace of Mind" testing day
PPGMR is offering free sexually transmitted infection testing at its health center. Bring your partner and get tested together! Space is limited. Please call today for an appointment: 725-1717.
 
All Week, during National Women’s Health Week, May 11-16, 2009, Planned Parenthood Greater Memphis Region is offering:

Spanish interpreters – ¡Se habla Español!
Free HIV testing-no appointment is needed
Free "Women's Health Workshops"
for groups such as churches, schools, community organizations and social clubs. We can tailor the information to the needs of the group! Please call 725-3033 by Monday, April 27th to set up a workshop during National Women's Health Week.
Daily contests in our Health Center...learn something new and win prizes!
