The anti-abortion protest "40 Days for Life" has returned, with the national anti-abortion movement more emboldened than ever to end access to safe and legal abortion. Last week, a six-week ban (HB77) passed out of the TN House Health Committee. The six-week ban will effectively outlaw abortion and criminalize physicians.

This is a moment that calls for bold action. The time to elevate your voice and demand access to safe, legal abortion in Tennessee is NOW. This spring we invite you to participate in Pledge-A-Protester 2.0.

Pledge-A-Protester 2.0 is more than a fundraiser - it is a call to action. To keep safe and legal abortion a reality for everyone in our community, this is what we ask of you:

  • Donate to Pledge-A-Protester. We are asking folks to donate $1, $2, $5 or more per day for every day we have protesters outside of our health centers. As the total amount raised increases over the course of the campaign, we will display the total on our sign in full view of protesters on the sidewalk.
  • Join us for our STOP THE BANS direct action at the Tennessee State Capitol on Monday April 1st, where will oppose the six-week abortion ban (HB77/SB1236). Let's show our collective power as Tennesseans and declare to our lawmakers we won't go back.
  • Contact your legislators. Tell them to vote against the six-week abortion ban (HB77/SB1236) and all other attempts to criminalize abortion.
  • Follow us on Facebook for daily updates on ways you can take action with us.

Over 100 years ago, Planned Parenthood was founded on the radical idea that access to reproductive health care had the power to change lives and the world. We cannot stay silent in the face of this proposed abortion ban. I hope you will make your gift to Pledge-A-Protesterand commit to take action with us today.
