On Saturday, April 4, EXO Lounge will open its doors to friendsbychoice – Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region’s new young professionals group. With special guest Loni Swain, host of Loni’s Love Lounge on Foxy 95.5 FM, supporters of Planned Parenthood will gather for cocktails and hopefully some dancing!

A donation of $5 will go to Planned Parenthood from 8 to 10:30 p.m., and a $10 cover will be taken at the door after 10:30 p.m. Volunteers will give away Proper Attire® condoms – the organization’s newest brand of protection that is “Required for Entry.”

friendsbychoice invite likeminded individuals to “Party with Planned Parenthood.” The group hosts parties once a month at various venues to prove the theory that sex, politics and cocktails should always go together.

“Our group is a coalition of women and men dedicated to the continued and future success of the Planned Parenthood,” says Loni Swain, board member of friendsbychoice. “This is an organization that has provided me and tens of thousands of other St. Louis women and men information on contraceptives, safe sex practices and political support to protect access to that information.”

Over the past 75 years, Planned Parenthood in St. Louis has grown to include six health centers that provide information and services on reproductive health care to 34,000 women, men and teens annually. Services are offered on a sliding fee scale so that no one is turned away based on inability to pay.
